Sugar Cookies

LOVEY TO MY TUMMY

It’s Friday so lets have some fun baking with friends! I have asked my friend Emry to join me.  Grab a friend and have some extra fun with us baking yummy sugar cookies. There are just a couple things you will need to make these sugar cookies!

You will need:

• 2 ¾ cups of all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 ½ cups of white sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla  extract 
• Fun shapes to cut the dough or a knife
• A bowl and mixing utensils or an electric mixer 
• Piping bag or Ziploc bag or knife for decorating
• Plastic food wrap 
• Parchment paper 
• Different food colors if you would like to change your frosting color
• And obviously a FRIEND!

With all of these ingredients you will be able to create some fun treats with your friends. Make sure you share the love and make someone’s day extra lovey.
